Joel Chapter 1 Joel is the author of the Book Joel's name means Jehovah is God Joel was written around 835-800BC Not much is known about Joel - He was a prophet to Judah - the Southern Kingdom Joel's dad was Pethuel Judah was in a time of prosperity and Safety, but were moving away from the Lord. Joel is giving a warning vs1-5 - Judah to stay close to Jesus or His judgment will come. VS1-5 - A call or warning from the Lord to turn the Jewish people back to the Lord

It's an Archaelogical Fact The finds in Israel of the tomb, Peter's house, fishing boats at the time of Jesus prove He is risen 5. It's a spiritual fact Millions and millions of people have been changed and saved over the centuries
