There is continuity in God's program that we get to participate in as his workman. Charles Wesley said, "God buries his workmen, but carries on his work." All the great leaders of faith eventually get replaced: Joshua replaced Moses, Solomon replaced David, and even Paul replaced Stephen so to speak.
