The dictionary defines refuge as a shelter or protection from danger or distress. Whenever we feel threatened, we look for refuge. Sometimes it's a person, or maybe a government official or even a structure. As believers, our primary shelter is Christ; he can use those others to protect us, but he is our refuge.The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. (Ps 9:9) - Pastor Ken
