Asking Questions Series: God's Presence When We Question

December 6, 2024

Transcript: The challenges of life can sometimes cause us to question God, but they should never cause us to quit on God. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. As Jesus struggled in agony during His final moments on the cross, He cried out, "My God, my God, why have You forsaken Me?" The cross served as part of God's plan of salvation, but left Jesus in great pain at that moment. Likewise, we often question God's plan when we face difficulty and pain. Yet even with nails in His feet and hands, Jesus did not allow His question to keep Him from fulfilling His mission. He remained faithful, serving as an example for us. As you endure setbacks in your own life, questions are okay. God can handle our doubts. But don't let pain cause you to quit on God. He has a purpose, even when we feel forsaken.
