Transcript: Too many Christians live in defeat because they don’t know the enemy or the Biblical strategy to win. The Bible’s clear. Want victory over the devil? Submit to God then through the power of the Holy Spirit, resist him. He’ll flee. Want victory over temptation like sexual impurity, idolatry and the love of money? The Bible’s clear. From these things you must flee. Run. Run-away fast. Don’t dialogue with the devil. Don’t play footsy with temptation. Use the legs God gave you and flee. Remember… you’re no match for the Devil or temptation when you purposely sit in their presence. Spiritual Victory Series: Prepare for Victory

Transcript: Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with the American Pastors Network. For the next several days before my Christmas emphasis, I’d like to share some principles about Christian living, and spiritual victory. Victory requires knowing there’s an enemy and a battle. Eph. 6 says we battle not against flesh and blood but principalities and powers in high places -so put on the whole armor of God. Living victoriously as effective salt and light includes identifying the enemy as the world, the flesh and the Devil. Victory requires believing that the devil’s fighting hard to keep us defeated, ineffective, and without influence in our culture. Sadly, the latest surveys indicate that 74% of Americans say they’re Christians, but of these over 50% live in daily defeat because they don’t believe either the Holy Spirit or the Devil are real. Transcript: The challenges of life can sometimes cause us to question God, but they should never cause us to quit on God. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. As Jesus struggled in agony during His final moments on the cross, He cried out, "My God, my God, why have You forsaken Me?" The cross served as part of God's plan of salvation, but left Jesus in great pain at that moment. Likewise, we often question God's plan when we face difficulty and pain. Yet even with nails in His feet and hands, Jesus did not allow His question to keep Him from fulfilling His mission. He remained faithful, serving as an example for us. As you endure setbacks in your own life, questions are okay. God can handle our doubts. But don't let pain cause you to quit on God. He has a purpose, even when we feel forsaken.
