Transcript: How should we respond when God doesn't seem to answer our prayers? A little-known Jewish prophet holds the key to our response. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. The prophet Habakkuk began his prophecy asking, "O Lord, how long shall I cry for help, and you will not hear?" Can you relate? We often feel like our prayers are unheard, leaving us with questions about God's plan for our lives. Yet God's response to Habakkuk applies to us today. The Lord responded, "I am doing a work in your day that you would not believe if told." Even when we cannot see the answer, God has a plan in place. Instead of giving up, we are challenged to look up. The one who created the universe continues to control our steps even when we cannot see the way.
