The Trumpet is the Sound of Warning

Actor Portayal

February 26, 2017 • Pastor Barbara Fite • Acts 19:11–20

That the servants of God realize first of all that we are only the vessels that God chooses to use. We can't nor should we take credit for anything God does through us. The second thing is that we can't just call on Yeshua’s name based on the fact that someone else did and a miracle was performed. We have to have Him on the inside of us. Evil spirits recognize the difference between power and game. It's time that we stop acting like we have His power an invest in getting His power.

Created With Purpose

April 16, 2017 • Pastor Barbara Fite • Luke 1:76–80

Before John was born he had purpose. Even if we weren’t told when we were born what our purpose is we have purpose. Some of us look at where we are and what paths we have gone down and based on those things say we don’t have purpose. It doesn’t matter whether you were nurtured and prepared for your purpose we all have purpose in God. Just like Zechariah prophesied over his son, I prophesy over you that you will be great and live in purpose.

The Cause and Effect of Sin

Positioned for Purpose

October 1, 2017 • Pastor Barbara Fite • Esther 4:4–17

The focus of this message is to understand why we are positioned where we are. Although sometimes we may feel like we have no power we have to recognize that the Lord has given us what we need and he sends the right people at the right time so that we can activate what’s on the inside. Esther in her attempt to hide who she was came to realize that she could no longer hide who she was. It’s time that we stop hiding and recognize the Purpose of our Position.

You Are NOT Who They Think You Are!

October 27, 2019 • Pastor Barbara Fite • 1 Samuel 1:12–18

Many times based on our posture or appearance we are accused of being something or someone we aren’t. In those times it’s important for us to always maintain respect for the accuser and oneself. Hannah shows us how we are to carry ourselves even when we are desperate and dismayed.

Double Portion

December 31, 2017 • Pastor Barbara Fite • 2 Kings 2:1–12

When Elisha was given the mantle he really sought to glean everything he could from his master. He recognized that what he had wasn’t going to be enough to be Elijah’s successor. He recognized that the responsibility that he was going to have was going to take more than what he currently possessed. He recognized that he was going to not only be obedient to the Lord, but he was also going to have to trust the anointing that he now has acquired.

It's Your Time But Not Your Turn

March 11, 2018 • Pastor Barbara Fite • 1 Samuel 16:10–13, 1 Samuel 17:14–15

What people think of you, even your family, does not determine who God has called you to be. Even in God calling you and anointing you in a position, doesn’t mean that it’s your time to rule. We have to be willing to wait even when God has given us what He wants us to have, and go back to doing what we were doing before we were anointed to rule.

A King Servant

March 18, 2018 • Pastor Barbara Fite • 1 Samuel 16:14–23

Being called and anointed by God but having to serve the one we will one day replace. Using what God has given you to benefit someone else is a character trait that many do not have, but as servants of God we have to learn that it’s not for our glory or benefit but it’s for God’s. Even if we are in a leadership position we still have to serve those who are over us. We can’t expect to be served if we aren’t willing to serve. David was not only capable but he was willing.

God or Wealth - Which has you?

June 3, 2018 • Pastor Barbara Fite • Matthew 6:24–34

So many of us stress about things and stuff that God already said he would provide. This message is to help us to recognize how we don’t trust God, but instead we trust what we can provide on our own and how that decision impacts our kingdom work.

Shut the Door!

December 23, 2018 • Pastor Barbara Fite • Genesis 4:1–7

There are times in our walk in God that He doesn’t accept what we present to him. This is not only our worship, and our gifts, but also the service we give him. This sermon focuses on those times, how we act or react when God doesn’t accept what we offer him. It will help us to see that we are not to take it out on the ones that God does accept. It just means we need to go back and start over so that God accepts what we present to Him.

Has Your Persecution Begun Yet?

February 3, 2019 • Pastor Barbara Fite • Mark 13:9–13

In our walk with Yeshua we should face persecution. If we are truly being his witnesses, then persecution is inevitable. The issue with disciples is that we don’t want to face persecution, we want our walk with Christ to be easy. As Christ was talking to his disciples He was trying to give them a glimpse of what their persecution will look like. The last thing He said to them was if they endure then they will be saved. This is an assurance that although we have to go through persecution, the Lord has us in the end.

Can YOU Follow the Instructions?

April 14, 2019 • Pastor Barbara Fite • James 5:13–20

The Bible is full of Instructions. There are times that we don’t follow what we read. Some of it is because of a lack of understanding, but it’s mostly because we have made the choice not to follow them. When you are putting together anything, whether it is simple or complicated, it’s best to follow the instructions to ensure it’s put together correctly. It’s the same with us in order for us to operate at our best we need to follow the instructions.

Can You Say the Other "F" Word? I Forgive You!

December 26, 2021 • Pastor Barbara Fite • 2 Corinthians 2:5–11

Believers must invest in forgiving those who have wronged us once they have repented. Paul teaches the Corinthian church how to restore someone.
