When Elisha was given the mantle he really sought to glean everything he could from his master. He recognized that what he had wasn’t going to be enough to be Elijah’s successor. He recognized that the responsibility that he was going to have was going to take more than what he currently possessed. He recognized that he was going to not only be obedient to the Lord, but he was also going to have to trust the anointing that he now has acquired.

That the servants of God realize first of all that we are only the vessels that God chooses to use. We can't nor should we take credit for anything God does through us. The second thing is that we can't just call on Yeshua’s name based on the fact that someone else did and a miracle was performed. We have to have Him on the inside of us. Evil spirits recognize the difference between power and game. It's time that we stop acting like we have His power an invest in getting His power.
