Who would you consider to be the description of a good man? A good father? Moses, David, Elijah? However, do we ever think of Joseph, the father of Jesus? Why not? He must have been pretty special if he was chosen to be the father of God's son, so why don’t we look to him? This week we do.

Redemption, being set free from bondage, is a very important theme throughout the Scriptures. It is derived from the Exodus event and reinterpreted by the coming of Christ, his death, and resurrection. Freedom is not only being brought out of Egypt but also being led through the wilderness.
