Judgement Day

This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. 11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. Prayer Father, thank you for this moment. Thank you for the breath in my lungs. Thank you for the time you have blessed me with. I confess that I have not always kept You at the center of my life. Holy Spirit, reveal the areas of my life that I have not surrendered to King Jesus. Strengthen my faith to help me live my life for King Jesus, every day. Thank you for the forgiveness that comes through my faith in Jesus. In the mighty and powerful name of Jesus I pray Amen

They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. 12 In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” Prayer Father, You are my provider and protector. Every good and perfect gift comes from You. Help me to place all of my worries and anxieties into your hands. Holy Spirit shed light into the areas where I have believed the lies of the devil, because I want to be free in Christ. Thank you for the ways you have blessed me even when I don’t understand or see it. This morning I open the eyes of my heart, give me ears to hear and may your Word and Spirit encourage, strengthen and empower me. In the powerful and mighty name of Jesus, Amen!

What is Hell like?

Prayer Father, I thank you because you have provided a way to not just go to hHeaven, but to be free from the power of Hell in my life today through faith in your son, Jesus! I know the Enemy does not want me to hear today’s message. So, I reject the lies of the Devil. Holy Spirit, help me fix my attention and affection on Jesus this morning. Reveal the ways in my life that are not lining up with Your will and help me to live my life for Jesus! In the powerful name of King Jesus, Amen!

Building towards eternity

It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. 14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames. ___ Prayer Dear heavenly father, Open my eyes to your presence. Let me see and feel your magnitude and glory. Allow me to experience your heart for this world and the world to come. Let me not get hung up on my own understanding or hesitation, but instead, let me fully put my trust in you. In your Holy and blessed name we pray, Amen.

Where is heaven?

On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. Prayer Father in heaven, Thank you for your Son, Jesus! Thank you that because of Jesus my life can be different here and now but also because of Jesus I have a future hope. Holy Spirit, open the eyes of my heart and help me understand Heaven is my ultimate home because Heaven is where you are! I confess I do not always make Jesus the center of my life. Help me to discern the lies of the Devil in my life so I might live my life in view of eternity! In the powerful and mighty name of King Jesus, Amen!

God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” 5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” Prayer Father, thank you that every good and perfect gift comes from you. Holy Spirit, help me to hunger and thirst for God’s Kingdom in my life. I reject the lies of Satan who wants me to believe this world is all there is. I set my hope, affection and attention on Jesus and his vision for the world and for my life. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, amen!

Prayer Father, In the name of Jesus, I bind any lies the Enemy, the Devil, may have for me this morning. Holy Spirit, help me to set aside any distractions, worries or disruptions. Help me fix my eyes on King Jesus! I pray that you would make my heart your home Lord. In Jesus Powerful & Awesome Name, Amen!
