"Drawing the Wrong Conclusions about Jesus" (Part 1)

February 11, 2024 • Pastor Asa Dockery

"Drawing the Wrong Conclusions about Jesus" -John writes that Jesus came to His own people and they did not receive Him. Even though Jesus taught like no other teacher and performed countless miracles in their midst, the Jews refused to believe He was God's Son. Repeatedly, the Jews came to the wrong conclusions about Jesus. Until Jesus is revealed to believers, we won't always understand His sayings. Even though God is our heavenly Father, we don't understand all of His ways. However, once the Holy Spirit reveals the spiritual truth to believers, we will know our God and be strong in our walk of faith.

Pastor Asa Dockery

"How Did We Get Here?" -Have you ever woken up one day and ask yourself, "How did I get here in my life?" There is a way that seems right unto a person, but its end is the way of death. Many people on earth believe since they have a physical body and live in a physical world that everything that pertains to them is of a natural occurrence. It is this type of thinking that has gotten us as humans in the place that we are spiritually. Get ready to be empowered with God's truth.

"Letting Go of the Past" -As Christians, we can't do the same things the same way and expect our lives to be different. There has to be a transformation that takes place in our hearts. To override our human weaknesses, God has given to every person the measure of faith. To override our ways so that we can please the Father, He has given us His truth. As we obey the truth of God by faith, God will reveal the error of our ways so that we can be transformed. All we need to do is OBEY the Holy Spirit. It's that easy!
