Stand Up to Spiritual Bullying

May 12, 2024 • Pastor Asa Dockery

"Stand Up to Spiritual Bullying" -If you are a follower of Jesus, He requires us to be wise as serpents and remain harmless as doves. As Christians, Satan is our adversary. He will use whatever weapon that works to stop us from doing God's will for our lives. If a certain tactic doesn't work, Satan will try something different to use against us. Satan works through people in the world, as well as in the church world to intimidate or shame obedient Christians. It's time that all Christians stand up to spiritual bullying and be who God has created us to be in Christ. If you are born again, you are different than the world. God created us differently in Christ to make a difference in the world.

Proclaiming the Truth With Power

June 5, 2024 • Pastor Asa Dockery

"Proclaiming the Truth with Power" -God didn't send Jesus to earth without power. Jesus is the Word of God that became flesh. Not only did Jesus proclaim the truth, but He did it with power that saved the lost and set the captives free. He was able to restore sight to the blind and He raised the dead. Whenever the truth of God is being declared, the power of God should be present too. Truth isn't just given to be heard, but as we hear the truth, it should transform our hearts and lives to be Christ like.
