"There are Two Offers on the Table" -There is a spiritual war taking place over your soul. This war is between you and your desires (lusts). Even though we are in a war with Satan over our soul, Jesus has already won that war and His victory is forever secure. The war that we are engaged in now has to do with who will win our soul, Jesus or Satan. We war with our own desires for pleasure, but if we would submit our hearts to God, He would give us the desires of our hearts. What are you building your life upon, the Rock or sand?

"Shining the Light on the Darkness" -In an effort to make sin acceptable to Christians, Satan has used knowledge to draw believers away from the truth. It is said that there is nothing new under the sun. In Satan's kingdoms that statement holds true. Since the tree of knowledge was used by Satan to cause the spiritual downfall of mankind, he is continuing to use knowledge to subvert the Word of God in people's hearts. Through knowledge, Satan has successfully redefined sin so that he might present it in a different "light" so that people who aren't hungry for the truth will accept his lies.

There are times that we hear about certain subjects, such as the love of God, but we don't really dig into what that really means for us. The more intimately and personally we know the Father, the stronger we will become as His children. It's time to wean ourselves off of the milk of the Word and to grow to the place that we can hear and receive the meat of the Word.
