No one is exempt from the longing to be applauded and affirmed. And when we think we deserve the glory for doing good things, it's easy to seek ways to turn the spotlight on ourselves. Interestingly, God takes issue not with our good deeds but with our efforts to heap the credit upon ourselves. Which leads us to the question, if it’s not me, who should get the glory?
