The Easter Story in the Old Testament, Genesis 22 & 24

Heights Campus

March 18, 2018 • Kurt Birky

God’s redemptive plan for mankind culminated with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. However, the plan itself was laid out centuries earlier. To get a new perspective of the Easter story, we will be looking at four Old Testament characters; Abraham, Isaac, Eliezer and Rebekah and how they point to an even greater story.

Fruit & Intimacy, John 15:1-8

May 27, 2018 • Peep Saar

We cannot force fruitfulness out of our own efforts. All we can do is create an healthy environment where the miracle of life and growth can happen. Living things grow, multiply & bear fruit. Bearing fruit is a requirement for disciples of Jesus. Fruit is born out of an environment of intimacy. 1. Intimacy with God (John 15:5) 2. Intimacy with the family of God (John 13:35) 3. Intimacy with lost people (John 17:15-18) SONGS: All The Earth #7035179 by A Rozier, J Ingram, J Smith, and M Andrews 2014 © Word Music, LLC Faithful To The End #7054172 by B Johnson, H McClure, J Taylor, and P McClure 2015 © Bethel Music Publishing O Praise The Name (Anástasis) #7037787 by B Hastings, D Ussher, and M Sampson 2015 © Hillsong Music Publishing It Is Well [Bethel] #7021972 by H G Spafford, K DiMarco, and P P Bliss 2013 © Bethel Music No Other Name #7019979 by J Houston and J Myrin 2014 © Hillsong Music Publishing

Be Restored, 2 Kings 5:1-19

March 18, 2018 • Matt Ferrell

In this story we see an incredible picture of what it means to have a life changing encounter God. Naaman did not disengage from his current occupation, but rather he sought to live extraordinarily consistent in every part of his life. We too are called to live consistently in worship to God our Father no matter what circumstance or job occupation we find ourselves in. 1. A Forgiving Heart (vs. 1-3) 2. A Proud Heart (vs. 4-13) 3. A Changed Heart (vs. 14-19) Songs: Glorious Day #7081388 by J Ingram, J Smith, K Stanfill, and S Curran © Fellow Ships Music Overcome #7067561 by C Brown, M Brock, and S Furtick © Music by Elevation Worship Publishing Be Thou My Vision #30639 by E H Hull | Byrne, M E Byrne Public Domain In Christ Alone #3350395 by K Getty and S Townend 2001 Thankyou Music God Of The Redeemed #5858132 by C McClure, P McClure, and J Riddle 2010 Bethel Music
