Last week we learned about singing in Church, something we do in worship that is strange compared to the rest of life; this week we go to the opposite end of the spectrum - Prayer! Prayer is something we are supposed to do every day, all throughout the day. St. Paul told us to pray without ceasing, making prayer something we can do anywhere and at any time - even silently! So, today in worship we ask the question, “Why do we pray in Church.”
