This week we continue our look at some of Jesus’ most outrageous sayings with an ethical teaching that seems very out of place in the mouth of someone who walked around healing people: “Pluck your eyes out!” Did Jesus really say that?! Worship with us on Sunday to learn why this saying isn’t as bad as it sounds and is actually incredibly good news for all of us.

We will also take time to pray for the campers & adults who will be spending the coming week at summer camp at United Methodist Camp Manidokan.

State of the Church

Before the fullness of fall sets in, we will pause this Sunday to refocus on what Jesus tells us is most important! In what I call the "State of the Church" sermon, we will celebrate what the Lord is doing through our shared ministry and consider how each of us can stay focused on loving God, neighbor, and even self! At the end of each service we will pray for those who will lead fall ministries.
