Since the Bible says the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of heaven (1 Corinthians 6:9), a believer must be righteous to say he is saved. This means on one hand you are perfected, but our behavior suggests something different at times. Our perfect righteous identity should begin to work itself into our behaviors. So, although you are a righteous child of God as a believer, there is a way to grow into righteous behavior.
