There are many factors that influence our understanding of and relationship with God. Wrongful theology and legalistic religious systems are the worst because they are the hardest to break free from mentally. Therefore, Jesus had the harshest words for religious leaders who loaded believers with heavy burdens they themselves secretly couldn’t live up to. Jesus Christ hates it when influencers make relationship with Him difficult for otherwise sincere believers.
