Ps Louis shared from Matthew 21, the story of the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, and highlighted several parallels that are so relevant for us as a church. There are questions asked of the crowd, questions that each of us needs to answer in our hearts. Questions about who we believe deep down in our hearts Jesus truly is. Jesus asked the question to Peter: ‘Who am I? How would you answer this question?
Consecration often sounds like a heavy subject, but it's not meant to be. In truth, it is something we choose to seek out, and it brings us great joy and life. It is a beautiful joy to be faithful and true to our covenant with God (much like it is a great joy to be true and faithful to our spouse). Craig Galloway explores what it really means to choose to have a consecrated heart and the beautiful journey it is.
What is unique in the Christian biblical worldview is that God chooses to work with us and through us, rather than do everything himself. God wants the joy of doing it in partnership with us.
