Is Grace too New to be True?

"For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness". (Romans 4:2, 3 NKJV).

Grace is not a new topic! The grace teaching did not originate from Singa- pore or from the West ! Grace is a Bible topic and God inspired. Grace is Jesus in me living through me. Grace was in the book of Genesis. "For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith" (Romans 4:13 NKJV).

Grace was inspired in the Old Testament even before the law. Bible says the law came through Moses. Abraham was living earlier before Moses. Then how did Abraham live without the 10 commandments when he never had it during his time. God has not given it yet. How did Abraham face holiness and right living without the law? Yet the Bible says God considered Abraham righteous. For the Scriptures tell us, “Abraham believed God, and God count- ed him as righteous because of his faith.” (Romans 4:3 NLT). That means grace was operating in Abraham. Grace is not a new topic and added by some feel-good gospel preachers. Grace is from God. Abraham was right with God not because he was circumcised and kept the law. There was no law then. Abraham's circumcision is a declaration of God's work in Abraham; not a prerequisite for acceptance and favor from God. "Circumcision was a sign that Abraham already had faith and that God had already accepted him and declared him to be righteous—even before he was circumcised. So Abraham is the spiritual father of those who have faith but have not been circumcised. They are counted as righteous because of their faith". (Romans 4:11 NLT).

In your walk with God, faith in Jesus' finished work is all you need to be accepted before God and live in victory. The faith of Abraham is, he believed God and through that grace and favor was in Him. Jesus said, "... If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes" (Mark 9:23 NKJV). There is an "all possible" life available for us. Believe and see God working in you. Grace is not a new teaching. It was the first truth that we see in the Bible! " ...For it is good that the heart be established by grace,..."(Hebrews 13:9 NKJV).
