The real meaning is much deeper. Because Jesus is the light of the world and light comes from God the Father of lights, light stands in sharp contrast to darkness and evil. To walk in the light means that we consider Jesus as the light, that He truly is our light and that if a true believe, we are to reflect His light by living holy lives in obedience to the Light of His Word. When we walk in this light, we’ll have fellowship one with another. Others, will see the light, and know we are of the light because we love one another. Are you walking in the light?
