Unclutter Your Soul

November 27, 2022 • Dr. Lance D. Watson • Luke 10:38–42

It does us good to remember where we have been, and to reevaluate where we are going. As people of faith, we can draw encouragement from past experiences of walking with the Lord. We stand back and see God’s sustaining grace, provision, salvation, and deliverance and we can say—I saw God do it. We remember how God has been there for us when there was no other place to turn. We have watched God open doors of opportunity. These remembrances cause us to refocus our faith in our great God and Savior. Looking back at the past unclutters our future and enables us to live with confidence no matter what. We are Saint Paul’s Everywhere! Unclutter Your Heart

November 13, 2022 • Dr. Lance D. Watson • Proverbs 4:23

The heart is at the core of everything. Designed to be a free-flowing tributary, it can be clogged and cluttered by debris. Jesus Christ taught often on the heart, emphasizing that what comes out of a person is what defiles them because it revealed what was truly in them. What we do, think, and say flows from the state of our hearts. What we treasure is shown by the desires of our hearts, so it is imperative that we guard our hearts and keep them free from clutter. Only then will we experience the abundant life, finding ultimate satisfaction, total joy, and grace upon grace. We are Saint Paul’s Everywhere! Unclutter Your Mind

November 6, 2022 • Dr. Lance D. Watson • 2 Corinthians 10:3–5

Did you know there’s an invisible war going on inside you all the time? It’s the battle for your mind. Whatever captivates your mind owns you. Strongholds of deception, worry, envy, jealousy, pride, and pettiness must be dismantled and overcome if we are to unclutter our mental landscape. How do we make our minds---mind? How can we take our thoughts captive and bring them into submission to Christ? That’s our focus today. We are Saint Paul’s Everywhere!
