It does us good to remember where we have been, and to reevaluate where we are going. As people of faith, we can draw encouragement from past experiences of walking with the Lord. We stand back and see God’s sustaining grace, provision, salvation, and deliverance and we can say—I saw God do it. We remember how God has been there for us when there was no other place to turn. We have watched God open doors of opportunity. These remembrances cause us to refocus our faith in our great God and Savior. Unclutter Your Heart

The heart is at the core of everything. Designed to be a free-flowing tributary, it can be clogged and cluttered by debris. Jesus Christ taught often on the heart, emphasizing that what comes out of a person is what defiles them because it revealed what was truly in them. What we do, think, and say flows from the state of our hearts. What we treasure is shown by the desires of our hearts, so it is imperative that we guard our hearts and keep them free from clutter.
