Ephesians 6:15-16

Spreading the Gospel and Divine Protection

November 28, 2022 • Apostle Todd Murner • Ephesians 6:15–16

As the apostle Paul finishes his letter to the Ephesians, being a faithful fathering leader, he wants to make sure the ephesians are prepared and protected for the mission of establishing a strong ecclesia and producing mature sons and daughters of Yahweh for generations to come. Today's passage focuses on the spreading of the gospel and the divine protection from all the schemes, attacks and demonic accusations of the enemy.

In this passage, Paul finds another creative way to approach how one identifies and appropriates Christ in this familiar imagery associated with the armor of a Roman soldier. Make no mistake here, Paul is providing another perspective to "putting on Christ". Everything Yahweh has to offer us is found in Christ and that's why it is so important to not only put on Christ, but also reject and deny anything that is contrary to you in Christ and Christ expressing Himself through you.

Blessings.
