Being A Servant

If someone were to use the word 'always' to describe you, what would they say?

Would they say you are always happy or always in a bad mood? Would they say you're always encouraging others, or you always complain? Would they say you're always working or that you're always on vacation? Or would they say you're always about yourself?

What would they say about you?

In our society, it's easy to get wrapped up in yourself. But, to live the life God has for you, you must be willing to reject yourself for the good of others. It's not easy, and it sure isn't comfortable. But when you deny yourself, God can do so much with you.

In week two of All In, instead of being wrapped up in ourselves, we'll see how to go 'all in' as a servant. Serving is not something that we do. It’s an action that reflects who we are.
