Knowing the Lord and the Bible is a constant growing experience throughout one’s life. You never get to a point where you can say, “Yep, I know all there is to know about spiritual things and I can’t get any closer to my Savior.” Malarky. Not one person other than Jesus Christ, who is Himself also God, can make these claims. As Pastor Bill encourages in today’s message, step one is to accept Jesus as your Savior. Step two is to read your Bible. You can’t navigate this world apart from it.

He’ll challenge you today to really understand what you’re reading and allow it to permeate and change your life.

In our world, there is a lot of information going around. With the invention of the smartphone, TV, laptops, and tablets, the flow of information is never ceasing. This has its pros and cons, some of the cons include the spreading of misinformation. Many people throughout the internet have slandered the name of Jesus... But Jesus is an overcomer. No amount of slander or evil or anything can stop the truth of Jesus. If He can overcome death then He can overcome anything that this world can try to hurl at Him.
