What's The Problem?

This is where all our sinful actions originate. As we identify the source of our problems, we are faced with having to live within the reality of these problems and among people with some of the same issues, leading to a struggle of being in the world but not of the world. Controlling The Tongue

About half way through the book, James is now going to address the ultimate test of our self control. Can we control our tongues? James makes a good case for why not doing so can lead to destruction when it comes to interacting with other people. What we learn learn from this chapter is we all stumble and maturity is a process. We also see the tongue is a small part of the body, but it is very powerful. What it ultimately comes down to is this: will we look to the Lord for wisdom?
