Fishing with a Strategy

March 10, 2019

Life Group Discussion Questions above... Time to make a catch! Pastor Billy encouraged us that God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things. We are called to be fishers of men. This will take patience and care. Are you willing to jump in the pond? Use these questions to dig in.

Jesus Said...

March 3, 2019

Don't let your hearts be troubled... These words of Jesus are wonderful to hear, but harder to live out. Pastor Ken gave some solid principles on what it looks like to trust God in the midst of our trouble. This involves remembering the mission of God and partnering with Him. Use these questions to dig deeper!

Option B

February 22, 2019

Option B – (What to do when option A isn’t available) We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many. 2 Corinthians 1:8-11 (NIV)

Our Imperfect Family Part 2

February 17, 2019

Pastors Jeremy and Aimee encouraged us to examine our relationship, especially the marriage relationship. God's design is that we would live in covenant with Him and one another. The best relationships turn "me" into "we" and become one another's biggest fan. Use these questions to dig deeper and make your relationships better.

OUR IMPERFECT FAMILY

February 10, 2019

http://...even your family. Pastor Ken looked at three different families - one from TV, one from the Bible, and our own family to point out that every family has dysfunctions. He explored five common issues that make family life difficult. But then he encouraged us that it can get better. Love is the answer and we were encouraged with some practical steps on how to be more functional. Use this week questions as a way to dig in and make your family better.

THIS ONE THING I DO

February 3, 2019

Full Life Group Discussion above. Enjoy! You can only change yourself... The final shift that Pastor Ken suggested has to do with how we process pain and habits or responses we wish we would have over and over again. Jesus' parable of the four soils reminds us that we all go through different stages, but God is drawing us all to be good, receptive soil. Use these question to help you "think small and start small" on your way to "big results."

SHIFT YOUR THINKING

January 27, 2019

Do you know you are loved? One of our main battles this side of heaven is to make sure the words we speak to our self line up with how God sees us. Pastor Ken encouraged us with three simple truths about how God sees us. If we believe and live these truths, what difference will it make in our daily living? Dig in to this week's questions and see for yourself. You'll find them in the tab above. JOIN US FOR OVERFLOW - A Worship Night to celebrate all the great things Jesus has done during our 21 Day fast. Wednesday, January 30 at 7:00 pm.

Friendship

January 20, 2019 • Pastor Ken Hart

Then you've got to have friends! That's what God told Adam in Genesis 2 way back in the beginning. Pastor Ken encouraged us to consider how our relationships were going as we begin 2019, reminding us that our joy in life is directly connected to the quality of our relationships. Use these discussion questions to revisit the scripture of Galatians 5 & 6 and answer the question: What did Jesus say to me out of this message.
