Father, I ask that you would give us hearts of compassion for those around us. Give us eyes to see people the way you created them and creative ideas on how to meet the needs of those around us. Remind us that when doing for others, we are really doing it for You. We declare that as we operate as the hands and feet of Him, others are able to see God through our actions, bringing hope, healing and restoration to our communities!
“For when you saw me hungry, you fed me. When you found me thirsty, you gave me something to drink. When I had no place to stay, you invited me in and when I was poorly clothed, you covered me. When I was sick, you tenderly cared for me, and when I was in prison you visited me.”
