In the series Reframing Rest, we’ve learned that the Sabbath is a rhythm, rooted in creation. A reminder of how God rescued us from our slavery to sin, and a gift that God gives us every single week to enjoy for our good.
We learned that we stop on the Sabbath to reveal our trust in God, refuel us for the work of God, and refocus us on what we have in God. That He is enough, and I don't have to spin my life in circles for God to keep the world spinning and in control. And we learned that on the Sabbath, we should do whatever is restful and restorative, whatever causes us delight, and whatever leads us to worship God.
We've provided for you a list of some best practices, and even had a panel of people from The Harbor - in different stages of life - sharing how they are seeking to practice the Sabbath in their own life.
Now we end our series by trying to answer the question, "What does Jesus think about the Sabbath?" What this short message by Pastor Jeff Maness to see!
