SENT

Every story starts with an invitation.

SENT Part 4

February 26, 2023 • Rev. Matt Miofsky

Statistics show that most people who do not go to church WOULD go if someone they knew would invite them. Everyday, we interact with people who are struggling with spiritual questions. They are largely doing it all alone, and without any wisdom beyond their own. Yet, many of us are nervous to invite, to talk about faith, or to mention church. Jesus asks the disciples to be invitational, in their immediate surroundings and beyond. In this series, we will wrestle with what it means -- and what it looks like -- to be invitational with our relatives, friends, coworkers, and beyond.
