Untethered Series Preview

Question. See. Believe.

Most of us have grown up with a set of beliefs about who or what God is – we may have been taught to believe without question. Now, as adults, we often find ourselves in a season questioning everything we once believed to be true. When we unravel or untether ourselves from what we were taught to believe, we are stepping into the unknown. But there is a freedom in floating that allows God to speak to us and move us toward a more powerful and mature 'construction' of our faith. In this series, we’ll explore the act of deconstruction, talk about its importance, and offer ways of grounding as you move into a faith beyond.

OPEN: Week 1

November 6, 2022 • Rev. Matt Miofsky

To be OPEN is at the heart of who we are called to be. It takes a willingness to listen, to be disrupted and to make space for new things. Before we can grow, we must be OPEN. A year ago we shared a vision for ministry and people responded with commitments to participate in that vision through giving to OPEN. Today we remind ourselves of that vision, celebrate how far we’ve come this past year, point to and talk about what lies ahead, and reconfirm our commitment to OPEN as we invite others to join in.
