While the term 'soul tie' is not found in Scripture, it is a term that can be used to describe the connection between two people in relationships, both healthy and unhealthy relationships. Becoming intimate, or one flesh in Scriptural terms, is very sinful and inappropriate outside the marriage covenant, and breaking those soul ties can be a crucial aspect of our restoration and reconciliation with the Lord.
