Where Your Road Meets His

February 1, 2020 • A.J. Dummitt

There is a place in every life where we come in contact with Jesus Christ. It does not matter if you’re young or old, rich or poor, black or white, Hispanic or Asian, because in every life you’ll come to a place where your road will meet with the Master. The place is usually somewhat uncomfortable and it becomes either a turning point or a stopping point in your relationship with the God of the universe. The great news is that Jesus loves you. He gave his life for you on a cross, and He doesn’t want you to perish eternally.

All The Way Out

February 1, 2020 • A.J. Dummitt

God never intended for you to be half saved. God never does anything half way, when He forgives your sins, He forgives all of them, not a half of them, not three-fourths of them, not a fourth of them but when He forgives you, He forgives you completely. Many people have been completely forgiven by God, but try to live a split life. Half living the new life in Christ while still living their old life of sin and pleasing their self. Is there no escaping the bondage of the past? Everything around you seems to say that doom is certain, but God brought you here. God led you here. When you get to the place where only God can save, Hallelujah! It is at this point that we must do what the children of Israel were told to do; stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

Cast Off The Coat

And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. — Mark 10:46 Jesus comes out of Jericho, and He passes right by this blind man called Bartimaeus. It doesn’t seem as if Jesus was looking for people with needs, He was just passing by. He didn’t stop or look around or ask anyone if they had a need, He was simply passing by. Many people feel like Jesus has passed them by. Sometimes people get their feelings hurt because Jesus doesn’t force His way into their lives to meet their needs. This story shows us the way to get God’s attention is to humble ourselves and cry out to Him.

If God Brought You To It

The Bible is the complete manual for our lives. If you want prosperity, the Bible tells you how to find it. If you want a good home life, the Bible will give you some insight on that. Is it peace in your marriage that you are looking for? That is in the book. If you want to know how to handle money, finances, intimacy, your marriage relationship, friendships, anything, it is all in the book. So you need to get the Book of books out to read and study it.

It's Not Your Battle

Have you ever been in a situation where you felt like God really should step in and do something for you? You are there in the mess and you know it is not going to be fixed by you alone! For we have no might against this great company that cometh against us, neither know we what to do, but our eyes are upon thee. 2 Chronicles 20:12

Position vs. Condition

February 1, 2020 • A.J. Dummitt

This chapter focuses on teaching you how to change your condition irrespective of your position. The Bible teaches that God is no respecter of persons; Then Peter opened his mouth, and said; Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. — Acts 10:34-35 God responds to our faith and accepts anyone that has reverence for and obeys His Word. This principle idea comes from Jesus’ teachings about the Canaanite woman and the prodigal son.

Rightfully Yours

If everyone in America would “cash in” and go ahead and claim what God has promised them, that would not even put a dent into God’s storehouse. It would not even come close to touching God’s ability. You cannot even fathom what God has in His storehouse. Scripture tells us that the Holy Ghost is just the earnest of our inheritance, there is so much more laid up for us. We better get ready to receive. He said if you would try and prove Him on His Word, that He would pour out a blessing on you that you do not have room enough to receive. God has what you need. God has what you are looking for. All the things that the devil has taken from you, God has it.

The Hiding Place

February 1, 2020 • A.J. Dummitt

Sometimes in life we all need a place to hide and seek refuge. In Psalm 119 verse 114 David tells us that God is a hiding place. It is great to know that there is a hiding place that we can seek refuge in. Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word. Psalm 119:114

When He Molds Us, He Holds Us

The Potter is still working today. Over fifteen times in the Old Testament the term “out of their hands” or “out of the hand” is used and this is very important. If somebody can be taken out of somebody’s hand or they can be delivered out of somebody’s hand according to the scriptures, I want to know why. It matters because of what we read in the Bible regarding the hands of the potter. The scripture says that God had Israel in His hand. In John we read that He’s going to give unto His people eternal life and nobody is going to be able to pluck them out of His hand. There is safety in the hand of God. There’s forgiveness in the hand of God. There is mercy and grace in the hand of God. If we can just stay in the hand of God, everything can be worked out.

Your Failure Is Not Final

August 24, 2020 • A.J. Dummitt

It is not a question of whether or not you will fall, the only question is when you will fall? Notice that according to Proverbs 24:16, if you are a just person, you get back up. You’re going to fall, you’re going to mess up, make mistakes, and blow it big time! What you need to know is that your failure is not final! Trust God. Pray every day. Seek after His guidance and wisdom. The Bible tells us not to trust in our own understanding, but in all of our ways to acknowledge Him and He will bring it to pass. If you will trust God, and allow Him to be your strength you will find out that your failures are not final.
