Community in Church

September 3, 2023 • Pastor Rick Wright • 2 Chronicles 20:3–5, 2 Chronicles 20:14–26, Psalm 84

It may sound trite, but it’s never a faulty plan to ask, “WWJD?” Jesus was involved in evangelism, discipleship, serving, and CHURCH. So what would Jesus do in terms of church? He’d go to church! Many scriptures tell us that Jesus regularly went to the synagogue, the local area for worship and learning. He didn’t just go to church, He was involved at the synagogue - fervently reading Scripture, teaching, and interacting with those present.

In Psalms 84, the Psalmist says, “How lovely are thy tabernacles, my soul longs yes even faints for the courts of the Lord.” Do you have a passion for church? Indispensable to the walk of Christian community is the gathering of the local New Testament church. I love my church! Join us this Sunday at 10 AM as we look at Pastor Rick’s Sermon “Community in Church.”
