Agape is considerate of the way it treats others. God doesn’t want us to treat others the way we feel they should be treated, but the way we would want to be treated.
Agape leaves room for growth and grace.
Agape does not rejoice in someone else’s misfortune, even if it’s for it’s own benefit. It desires to see righteousness prevail.
Agape does not become easily angered. It does not blow a fuse. When we become angry, we make decisions we regret later and hurt the ones we love.
