Most of us have gotten into trouble more than once because we refused to listen to others-even those who truly love us and are committed to us. Pride and foolishness often keep us from taking advice and input from others. Listening well takes humility and a willingness to learn and be corrected. The truly smart and wise people are those who are willing to listen to others-even their enemies if they are speaking the truth. Who are the people that are speaking into your life and are you listening?
