Is God Really a Jealous God?

September 13, 2020 • Dave DiDonato

Is God really a jealous God?

GOD IS JEALOUS FOR US
MAY WE BE ZEALOUS FOR HIM

GOD IS JEALOUS FOR US

God is Incomprehensible
God is Self-Existent and Self-Sufficient
God is Sovereign and Immutable
God is Holy and Just
God is Love, and Grace, and Mercy
God is Omnipresent
GOD IS JEALOUS FOR US
MAY WE BE ZEALOUS FOR HIM

God is jealous for our marriages
May we be zealous for our spouse

God is jealous for our children
May we be zealous to develop them spiritually

God is jealous for our time
May we be zealous to daily meet with him

God is jealous for our talents and treasures
May we be zealous to serve and give to him

GOD IS JEALOUS FOR US
WE ARE ZEALOUS FOR HIM!

Does God Really Work All Things Out for Good? Omnipotent, Sovereign, and Goodness

August 30, 2020 • Ron Moore

Through this series, we want to: • Know God more intimately • Live for God more intentionally • Share the love of God more boldly Does God really work out all things together for good? 1. God never wastes our time. God, what are you trying to teach me? God, how are you trying to change me? 2. Be content with “loose ends.” BIBLE 2020 We want to invite you to join the Bible2020 challenge and read the entire Bible in 2020. Does God Get Angry? Holy, Just, Love

August 23, 2020 • Dave DiDonato

Does God get angry? “A study of the concordance will show there are more references in scripture to the anger, fury and wrath of God, than there are to his love and tenderness” – A.W. Pink, The Attributes of God God’s Wrath WHY - God is holy, therefore he is pure and separate from all evil and sin HOW - God is just, therefore he judges all impartially according to His righteous standard WHO - God is love, therefore he placed our deserved punishment for sin on his Son, Jesus Christ Unbeliever - May an understanding of God’s wrath cause you to trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior Believer - May an understanding of God’s wrath cause you to revere him and follow hard after Jesus BIBLE 2020 We want to invite you to join the Bible2020 challenge and read the entire Bible in 2020.
