Simplify Christmas

Most of us would even be hard pressed to remember what we got for Christmas last year. Oh, maybe we can remember a couple of things, but probably not most of the things that we had begged for, only to discard it in a closet somewhere. We still have it, just not sure why or how we even got it. Sometimes you just need to simplify.

The True Meaning of Christmas

The question we are answering today you may have guessed is this– what is the meaning of Christmas? Somewhere between the Black Friday sales and the football games and the decorating and the outfit figuring out and the baking and the schedule coordinating and the menu coordinating, and the in-laws have entered the chat, and the name drawings and the school concerts, and the dress up days, and the end of semester tests and projects– not to mention the gifting that nobody apparently remembers– I’m not surprised at all that sometimes we struggle to remember the real meaning of this season.
