Deny yourself and follow after God, identifying with the death of Christ frees us from the power of the flesh.
“Free For All” is a 5 week series about the central truths of freedom that Christ has given us through our faith. This world, peoples opinions, the flesh, trying to save myself and even my works to gain favor from God have no power over me - in Christ I am free!
QUESTIONS FOR THE ROAD:
1. Recognizing when the flesh is active is important - in what ways do you act out in the flesh?
2. In what way do you need to deny yourself, say no to your flesh, and follow Christ? What is He asking you to do?
3. Consider how you identify with things: What have you been saying, " I AM...." lately? Look to the cross, consider it dead, turn from it, and put on Christ by prayer in faith.
