Self-salvation, gauging how we measure up, the comparisons we make between us and others, make us slaves to weak and worthless things, Christ has made us free from the elementary principles of the world.

“Free For All” is a 5 week series about the central truths of freedom that Christ has given us through our faith. This world, peoples opinions, the flesh, trying to save myself and even my works to gain favor from God have no power over me - in Christ I am free!

QUESTIONS FOR THE ROAD:

1. What elementary principle have you fallen for and believed the lie of the enemy?

2. How can recognizing these principles help you not fall for them anymore?

3. Who are you in your relationship with Chirst and how does that make all the difference for your

beliefs?

Deny yourself and follow after God, identifying with the death of Christ frees us from the power of the flesh. “Free For All” is a 5 week series about the central truths of freedom that Christ has given us through our faith. Recognizing when the flesh is active is important - in what ways do you act out in the flesh? 2. In what way do you need to deny yourself, say no to your flesh, and follow Christ? What is He asking you to do? 3. Consider how you identify with things: What have you been saying, " I AM...." lately? Look to the cross, consider it dead, turn from it, and put on Christ by prayer in faith.

Write it out, try to keep it to no more than 5 minutes, practice it until you are comfortable sharing it. 2. Who are the Judaizers in your life? Who or what causes you to doubt and fear, robbing your freedom in Jesus? 3. How can you strengthen your stand in Jesus? What needs to be added to your life to do this?

What are the ways that you try to be your own savior, forgetting what Christ has done? 2. How do you try to gain approval from men? How would becoming a servant of Christ change that perspective and keep your eyes toward Christ? What are the traditions you live by? Think of the ways you can become zealous, fighting for what you think is right? What’s the fruit and the impact on your heart?
