It doesn’t matter who you are, or what you’ve done, no one is beyond the reach of God’s Amazing Grace.

This four-week series will look at how various classic hymns convey the truth of Scripture to us. And by doing so, we will see that both the truth and different musical modes of expressing that truth are still relevant to our faith today.

QUESTIONS FOR THE ROAD:

1. How do you define grace? Does your definition meet a threshold of it being “amazing”?

2. What has changed in you and your actions after you have received God’s Amazing Grace?

3. What needs to change in your life and actions to better represent the “New Creation” God has made of you through Amazing Grace?

Do you think you live more like Heaven is a far-off idea, or a soon-coming promise? What needs to shift, or be reinforced, in your perspective of eternity with Jesus? 2. In which area do you have the most room for growth: hope for eternity, or urgency for today? What would help you grow? 3. Read Matthew 24:39-41, 44. In light of Jesus’ words, what do you think it means to be ready?

Of the two case studies, could you relate more to the Rich Young Ruler or the Woman at the Well? In what ways? 2. The world tells us that surrender is a sign of weakness. How is it actually a sign of strength? 3. Is there any particular area of your life that you’ve been tightly holding on to? How is the Lord prompting you to surrender to Him today?
