If God is truly great, why would we only surrender "parts" of our life to Him?

This four-week series will look at how various classic hymns convey the truth of Scripture to us. And by doing so, we will see that both the truth and different musical modes of expressing that truth are still relevant to our faith today.

Questions for the Road:

1. Of the two case studies, could you relate more to the Rich Young Ruler or the Woman at the Well? In what ways?

2. The world tells us that surrender is a sign of weakness. How is it actually a sign of strength?

3. Is there any particular area of your life that you’ve been tightly holding on to? How is the Lord prompting you to surrender to Him today?

Amazing Grace

In light of Jesus’ words, what do you think it means to be ready?
