Christmas at the Hills - North

Eternal Father

December 24, 2023 • Pastor Nathan Naoumi • Isaiah 9:6

Isaiah 9:6 prophecies the birth of Jesus and gives Him the title of Eternal Father. Jesus is not only the Son of God but is also considered the everlasting source of spiritual fatherhood. The title of Eternal Father reflects the enduring nature of Jesus' influence, extending beyond temporal boundaries to shape the lives and souls of those who seek his wisdom and embrace his divine love. In this Christmas season, let’s rest in the fact that like a loving father would embrace his children, Jesus’ birth is God’s embrace to humanity.

As we continue in our Christmas at The Hills series, Pastor Nathan continues speaking about the importance of Jesus’ arrival to us. We’ll see how the phrase “Prince of Peace” is more than just a catchy title for Jesus, but an actual reality for every Christian. When we put our faith Jesus, we can have true peace.

Hope is on the Horizon

December 10, 2023 • Pastor Nathan Naoumi • Isaiah 9:1–6

Isaiah 9 is a passage from the Book of Isaiah that is often cited and celebrated during the Christmas season for its prophetic message about the coming Messiah. The passage begins with a description of a region in ancient Israel, possibly Galilee, that had experienced darkness and distress. However, a promise of hope emerges, proclaiming that the people who walked in darkness would see a great light. This light is seen as a metaphor for the arrival of a divine savior.

God With Us

December 3, 2023 • Pastor Nathan Naoumi • Exodus 3:1–15

As we enter our Christmas at The Hills season, each campus will unpack varying topics around the season of Christmas and the birth of Jesus. This week, Pastor Nathan will dive into Exodus 3 where God reveals himself to Moses in a burning bush instructing Moses to lead the Israelites out of their bondage in Egypt. We’ll connect this encounter to the arrival of Jesus in the New Testament and see how Jesus’ arrival also sets us free from our bondage.
