Isaiah 9:6 prophecies the birth of Jesus and gives Him the title of Eternal Father. Jesus is not only the Son of God but is also considered the everlasting source of spiritual fatherhood. The title of Eternal Father reflects the enduring nature of Jesus' influence, extending beyond temporal boundaries to shape the lives and souls of those who seek his wisdom and embrace his divine love. In this Christmas season, let’s rest in the fact that like a loving father would embrace his children, Jesus’ birth is God’s embrace to humanity.

Isaiah 9 is a passage from the Book of Isaiah that is often cited and celebrated during the Christmas season for its prophetic message about the coming Messiah. However, a promise of hope emerges, proclaiming that the people who walked in darkness would see a great light. This light is seen as a metaphor for the arrival of a divine savior.
