In this impactful book of the New Testament, we see the Apostle writing a letter to people who were under attack, not from persecution, but from affluence. They were being pressured to give up their convictions as Christians to live like the world around them. We had not planned it this way, but as things begin to normalize in Puerto Rico after Hurricane María, what better time to remind ourselves to serve Christ first in good times as well as bad?
