After 400 years of waiting, the children of Israel have crossed the Jordan river and are finally ready to possess their promised land. http://well...not quite. There is still one more critical step that needs to be taken for them to be fully prepared to possess all that God has for them. This study will help us prepare our hearts as we get ready to possess our land.

Joshua, chapter 2 has it all. Military intelligence and intrigue. An enemy city fortified like a fortress. Covert operations conducted by two Israelite spies. An unlikely heroine in a house of ill repute. A search, a cover-up, a dangerous agreement, a manhunt, an intelligence gathering, a back window getaway, and a three-day hideout. What a story! And through the actions of the aforementioned heroine, a prostitute by the name of Rahab, we get our 2nd key on how to be STRONG in the Lord - The principle of exercising 'Faith Under Pressure'

Joshua 1:9 says, “Have I not command you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” These words were spoken to Joshua, but they hold meaning for us today. What has God called you to do? By examining the book of Joshua we will receive fresh encouragement and motivation to go and 'possess the land' God has promised us!
