What do the eighth, ninth and tenth commandments free us from? | ECHOES: Catechism in a Year

Often we look at the Israelites Exodus from Egypt and all the signs and miracles and wonder, “how could they turn from God so quickly and so often?” The problem is actually very common, God had taken the people out of Egypt but their hearts lingered. It is the same problem many believers face today, a lingering heart for the passions and desires within our world. Yet to counter the Egypt that dwells with their hearts God gave Israel the Ten Commandments. Today we will look at the final three of the Ten Commandments to discover the FREEDOM it awards to those who follow them.
