In Session Seven—Pastor John Miller spends a few moments with Skip Heitzig, Jack Hibbs Brian Dixon, Jeff Lasseigne and Terry Hlebo this year’s panel of pastors from the 2014 Nuts and Bolts Conference. Each pastor answering the relevant questions of expository preaching. For example the following questions; what is an expository message? One pastor answers the question by saying, “…it is preaching what God has already said and then explaining further.” Another question asks about the relevancy of the high-view of scripture and God’s truth from the entire Bible. Listen in as each pastor gives insight into the essential and principal truths of expository preaching.

In Session Two—entitled A Theology of Biblical Interpretation, Pastor Brian Nixon teaches from the book of 3 John 1:1-4 describing the importance of what it means to understand what the Bible says about truth and walking in the truth. Preaching God’s Word reveals and communicates God’s truth as the power of the scriptures mold and helps those who listen. Interpreting the Word of God includes studying the Bible as scriptural truth; and as toil working towards truth, and as testimony as a witness of the truth. As the world changes towards a varied concept of truths, it is imperative that each Christian and preacher know the truth of the Bible and share its loving message.
